From love to "sport" with more than 40 years of experience.

Metsätila Sillanharju is a responsible small-scale forestry producer. Our operating area is Parikkala and Kerava with neighboring municipalities. The raw material for firewood is always felled by loggers, saving the soil. The trees have been selected according to forestry principles, enabling the forest to have the best possible growth platform.

In 2023, we successfully started offering jobs related to the production and sale of firewood, lumberjack work and forestry as (summer) jobs for young people. With this activity, we want to be involved in ensuring the transmission of knowledge to young people. Including, but not limited to, getting familiar with the basics of business operations, logging tasks, techniques and tools, without forgetting the basics of forest nature and environmental issues. We commit to use a significant part of the income from the firewood sale to employ young people in the coming years as well.

Other forest services are also available on request: felling, clearing, chipping your own trees, stump milling, etc.
